96.22 — Beauty Care and Other Beauty Treatment Activities

This class includes: - Nail services such as manicures and pedicures, nail art, extensions and enhancements - Hair removal depilation services such as waxing, threading, sugaring , and electrical epilation - make-up application including semi-permanent and permanent make-up activities such as microblading - eye, brow and lash services - non-medical skin and body treatments such as facials, massage, reflexology, tanning and other related beauty consultations and treatments. - any treatment that enters and extends beyond the epidermis of the skin, not performed by a registered clinical health care specialist. This includes electrical device modalities such as LED light therapy and microcurrent and non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler injections, microneedling, deep chemical peels, vitamin infusions and injections, the insertion of cogs and threads and laser treatments

This class excludes: - cosmetic surgery activities performed by medical specialists, see 86.22 - activities of cosmetologists as part of therapeutic, rehabilitative or preventive treatment not performed by medical doctors, see 86.99
