28.219 — Manufacture of Ovens, Furnaces and Permanent Household Heating Equipment, Excluding Heat Pumps

This subclass includes: - manufacture of industrial, commercial and laboratory furnaces and ovens not classified elsewhere - manufacture of central heating boilers, burners and permanent heating equipment other than heat pumps - manufacture of permanent household cooling or ventilation equipment other than heat pump systems - manufacture of components integral to heating/cooling installations (e.g., grates, stokers, ash handling equipment) - manufacture of furnace burners

This subclass also includes: - manufacture of solar thermal water heating equipment - manufacture of domestic or non domestic cooling systems that do not use heat pump technology - manufacture of mechanical stokers, grates, ash dischargers and similar components associated with heating installations

This subclass excludes: - manufacture of domestic refrigerators and freezers, see 27.51 - manufacture of standalone fans, see 27.51 - manufacture of heat pumps of any type, see 28.21/1 - manufacture of non domestic air conditioning units, see 28.25
