88.103 — Social Work Activities Without Accommodation for Adults, Excluding Older Persons, Living With or Having a Diagnosis of Mental Illness, Learning Disability or Substance Abuse

This subclass includes: - social, counselling, welfare, referral and similar services which are aimed at adults, with a diagnosis of mental illness, learning disability or substance abuse in their homes or elsewhere and carried out by government offices or by private organisations, national or local self-help organisations and by specialists providing counselling services: • visiting persons with diagnosis of mental illness, learning disability or substance abuse • day-care activities for adults with diagnosis of mental illness, learning disability or substance abuse • home assistance services for persons with diagnosis of mental illness, learning disability or substance abuse • vocational rehabilitation and habilitation activities for persons with diagnosis of mental illness, learning disability or substance abuse where the education component is limited

This subclass also includes, when providing support for adults living with or having a diagnosis of mental illness, learning disability or substance abuse : - activities of caregivers (home assistance) - homecare services - home assistance services, such as to carry out domestic tasks, rendered to persons having a diagnosis of temporary medical impairment

This subclass excludes: - funding and administration of compulsory social security programmes, see 84.30 - residential care activities for persons living with or having a diagnosis of a learning disability, mental illness or substance abuse, see 87.20 - activities similar to those described in this subclass, but including accommodation, see 87.30 - social work activities without accommodation for adults, excluding older persons, with physical disabilities, see 88.10/2 - day-care activities for children with disabilities, see 88.91
