39.002 — Transport and Storage of Captured Carbon

This subclass includes the activities for transporting and storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) via pipeline and non-pipeline transportation (NPT) after its capture via any Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS) technology. This subclass includes: - the transport of captured CO2 and gases through pipelines to a storage site - the transport of captured CO2 and gases through NPT modes (e.g. maritime vessels and land based trucks) to a storage site
