Where they are not specialised to a specific sector or industry application this subclass includes: - machine learning applications, artificial intelligence (AI) / machine vision and Large Language Models (LLMs) - development of AI models that can be integrated into a wide range of software products - development of flexible domain-agnostic LLMs

This subclass excludes: - development of computer games, see 62.11 - development of AI tools specialised to industry or product applications, see 62.12 - e-commerce software applications, see 62.12/3 - enterprise management software, and other software applications relating to business services, see 62.12/6 - designing, writing, modifying, testing and supporting software with broad general-purpose applications not reliant on artificial intelligence, see 62.13/9
